James Gunn has revealed that the Marvel Cinematic Universe hero he wants to see join the Guardians of the Galaxy is Ant-Man. Paul Rudd’s comedic hero debuted in his 2015 solo film and joined the Avenging ranks last year’s Captain America: Civil War, with Scott Lang set to return in next year’s Ant-Man and the Wasp.
The Guardians of the Galaxy sub-franchise is much further afield, being the MCU’s entry point into the unchartered cosmic side of the universe.
