Thanks to Wonder Woman‘s incredible box office haul, the DC Extended Universe has now earned over $3 billion worldwide. Last year, Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice not only officially launched the studio’s new shared universe, but also catapulted the franchise beyond $1 billion. Later that year, David Ayer’s Suicide Squad drove the series into the $2 billion territory, and now, Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman – featuring Gal Gadot as the eponymous superhero – has pushed the DCEU passed $3 billion worldwide, an impressive feat considering that it’s only the fourth installment in the burgeoning universe.
