Hailee Steinfeld, one of the stars of the upcoming Transformers spinoff film Bumblebee, has revealed the first look at her character, Charlie Watson. Paramount’s prized cash cow is in a state of flux right now, after the disappointing critical and commercial (for this franchise’s standards) showings of this summer’s Transformers: The Last Knight. The property’s writers room, which was led by Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman, was recently disbanded as the studio tries to figure out a new game plan for the future. In the meantime, there are still a couple of projects on the slate coming through the pipeline – beginning with next year’s Bumblebee.
