Hayley Atwell is the latest actress to join Disney’s upcoming Christopher Robin film. The movie will be centered around the iconic real-life boy, whose father made him a central character in the Winnie the Pooh stories. However, the film should not be confused with the upcoming Domhnall Gleeson and Margot Robbie-led Goodbye Christopher Robin – which focuses more on the relationship Robin had with his parents as a boy and the creation of Winnie-the-Pooh – while the Disney-produced film will tell a much different story.
Instead, Disney’s Christopher Robin will catch up with the original boy from the Winnie the Pooh series, as an adult who has lost all sense of fun and imagination thanks to his work and adult responsibilities. That is, ...
