James Gunn has recently revealed that Kraglin, played by his real-life brother, Sean Gunn, is not officially a member of Star-Lord’s galaxy-saving heroes squad. Originally starting with five members with Peter Quill, Gamora, Drax, Rocket Racoon and Groot, Marvel has successfully launched a brand new sub-franchise from basically unknown characters in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
