A new one-sheet for Darren Aronofsky’s crazy-looking psychological horror film mother! highlights a fiery yet strangely untroubled Javier Bardem. The mother! teaser trailer has now given audiences their first unnerving and bizarre glimpse of Aronofsky’s latest project, which concerns a couple who whose peaceful lives are thrown into chaos thanks to a pair of uninvited house guests.
Jennifer Lawrence stars in mother! and she received the bulk of the attention in the teaser trailer – which featured the actress wandering around a house looking slightly dazed, while spectral voices hinted at horrific off-screen action. Javier Bardem, Ed Harris, Michelle Pfeiffer, Domhnall Gleeson and Kristen Wiig also star in the mysterious film.
