If there has been a regular complaint against Marvel Studios’ output, it has been that their movies all have a similar flavor. Whether it’s a story about a modern day millionaire industrialist, a World War II supersoldier, or a surly space raccoon, you can count on a Marvel movie to have colorful action, comedic banter, and flawed but well-meaning heroes. A more recent criticism that has popped up is that Marvel movie soundtracks are forgettable. This discussion is mostly limited to the realm of hardcore film aficionados, but it has been even more prevalent since the release of a video by Every Frame a Painting which catalogs the reasons behind the problem.
