If comic book superhero movies have a reputation for being bright, shiny and colorful affairs, then James Mangold’s upcoming Wolverine solo movie Logan appears to be dead-set on bucking that trend. Ostensibly Hugh Jackman’s final outing as the super-healing mutant with deadly weapons built into his fists (though the odds of him being tempted back for cameos are pretty good), Logan‘s early marketing has been characterized by a series of mysterious black and white photographs.
Some of these images have been more revealing that others (for example, one offered a first look at Patrick Stewart’s latest portrayal of Charles Xavier, while others simply show filming locations), but all are presumably clues as to what the movie’s plot might be. While there have been ...
