Whether you love or hate the current state of Warner Brothers’ DC Extended Universe, superhero fans everywhere are at least curious about the direction the films will take once more creative voice get involved. Zack Snyder has clearly played a formative role, having directed Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and now the upcoming Justice League movie. But with producer Geoff Johns now overseeing the developing DC movie-verse canon and other directors beginning to enter the fray, it’s possible that the tone of the DCEU may begin to broaden in an interesting way.
