Ridley Scott’s Alien: Covenant has gotten a new UK poster, showing protagonist Daniels (Katherine Waterston) up close with a deadly “Neomorph”. The Alien franchise got its start way back in 1979 and has cemented its status as a true icon of the genre. Serving as the eighth installment in the series proper – provided you want to throw Aliens vs. Predator and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem from 2004 and 2007 into the mix – Covenant continues from where Prometheus left off in 2012. 20th Century Fox is ramping up its marketing for the film too, following the release of the second Alien: Covenant theatrical trailer.
