Sony Pictures teamed up with Disney and Marvel Studios to reboot Spider-Man within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, first introducing a new and younger Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland) in Captain America: Civil War, before launching the character’s own trilogy beginning with Spider-Man: Homecoming this summer.
