The moms for Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn’s characters have been cast for the Bad Moms sequel, Bad Moms Christmas. Released in July last year, Bad Moms was surprise runaway hit at the domestic box office, earning more than $113 million against a $20 million budget. STX Entertainment clearly saw loads of potential for stories beyond the original film – a bawdy comedy about three over-burdened moms (Kunis, Bell and Hahn) who take back their freedom in outlandish ways – so the studio greenlighted Bad Moms Christmas in December, just before Christmas.
