Godzilla: King of Monsters has added yet another cast member to its growing ensemble. Following the release of Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla reboot in 2014, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures have been steadily building toward expanding their monster movie universe, something that was especially noticeable in this year’s Kong: Skull Island. All of this is, of course, building toward the already-announced Godzilla vs Kong special event film from the two studios. But before audiences can see the King of the Apes face off against the King of Monsters, they’ll first get to see the latter return to the big screen again in 2019 with Godzilla: King of Monsters.
