Despite his excitement, Dave Bautista wasn’t initially on board with the direction his character was taking in the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 script. Reviews for the upcoming James Gunn-directed sequel have been positive thus far, and the movie’s pre-sale tickets are currently tracking ahead of Joss Whedon’s Avengers: Age of Ultron.
