Fans now have a new dimension in which to experience Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, with help from director James Gunn. After a massive international opening last weekend, Guardians 2 will be hitting screens stateside this evening before its proper debut tomorrow. Thanks to the colossal success of the first film and plenty of early buzz, Guardians 2 is currently on track to open at home this weekend to over $150 million. And even before the receipts have been counted, Marvel are so confident in the film’s success that they’ve already green-lit Guardians 3, with Gunn returning to write and direct.
