An Indiegogo campaign has launched for Pennywise: The Story of IT, a documentary about Tim Curry’s performance as Stephen King’s legendary evil clown. King is known for creating some of the most memorable and frightening of monsters and villains of modern literature. Among those creatures, one of the most feared is Pennywise the Dancing Clown. The subject of King’s novel IT, Pennywise is a monster who can look like whatever he wants. When he targets an individual child, he takes on the shape of whatever frightens them the most. But most of the time, he takes on the guise of a clown.
