Disney and producer Jerry Bruckheimer’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is currently expected to gross north of $230 million, during its opening at the global box office this weekend. Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg directed the film, with Johnny Depp once again playing the role of chief lothario and high seas grifter Captain Jack Sparrow. While the initial word of mouth around the film was generally positive, reviews for Dead Men Tell No Tales have thus far been more of the mixed-to-negative variety, on the whole.
