In light of this past week’s tragic terror attack during an Ariana Grande concert at the Manchester MEN Arena, the London premiere of the forthcoming Dark Universe franchise film The Mummy has been cancelled by chief distributor Universal Pictures. Much like the comparative cancellation of the U.K. premiere of the DC Extended Universe production that is Wonder Woman from Warner Bros. Pictures, the entertainment industry at large appears to be paying welcome respects to those who lost their lives to a senseless act of violence.
