Spider-Man: Homecoming director Jon Watts isn’t sure if he’ll be back for the film’s sequel, but star Tom Holland is more confident. For both Holland and Watts, Homecoming is something of a trial by fire. While they’ve both had projects in the past, Holland’s biggest turn to date was as Peter Parker in last year’s Captain America: Civil War. Watts, meanwhile, has only directed two features — the horror film Clown and the dark indie Cop Car, which landed him the gig at Marvel. Knowing all of that, the early reports of the film pegged it as a potentially risky prospect. Luckily, that’s all changed.
