Child’s Play creator Don Mancini has a killer idea for a crossover with A Nightmare on Elm Street. Were such a crossover to occur, it of course wouldn’t be the first time that Elm Street’s resident slasher, Freddy Krueger, tangled with another horror icon. In 2003, Freddy famously battled Friday the 13th’s Jason Voorhees for the title of best supernatural serial killer in the blockbuster crossover Freddy vs. Jason, which made a boatload of cash despite dismissal by critics.
