Sony has set an official theatrical release date for The Crow movie reboot, starring Jason Momoa as murdered rock guitarist turned vengeful antihero Erik Draven. The big screen relaunch of James O’Barr’s comic book series turned film series has gone through too many actors, directors, and script drafts over the past decade to summarize fully here. For related reasons, fans of the supernatural property were highly skeptical when Momoa attached himself to the project in the summer of 2016, suspecting that he too would eventually drop out.
