Dwayne Johnson gears up to do battle with three giant monsters in the new international posters for his video game movie Rampage. The film is based on the popular gaming property that began as an arcade title in the mid-1980s, and reunites “The Rock” with his Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and San Andreas director Brad Peyton behind the camera.
Reports of New Line and Warner Bros. adapting the Rampage video game for the big screen first popped up in 2011, but the project went on radio silence until Johnson signed on four years later (shortly after San Andreas opened in theaters).
