This year will see a massively popular property from ’90s hit the big screen when Lionsgate and Saban Entertainment’s Power Rangers debuts. For its part, the Power Rangers property has been well known in U.S. pop culture since the early ’90s when the live-action Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series premiered – though it pulled much of its footage from the Japanese show Super Sentai. Since the ’90s, the Power Rangers brand has evolved to include a number of other series, two movies, and countless toy tie-ins, but Lionsgate and Saban are rebooting the property and bringing it – once again – to the big screen.
