In addition to continuing the Star Wars saga with a new trilogy of episodic installments, Disney and Lucasfilm are fleshing out the lore with standalone anthology films. The first of these, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, debuted in December 2016 becoming the seventh highest-grossing film of all time in the U.S. and next month it comes to home video.
Disney and Lucasfilm officially announced today that Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be available early on Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere on March 24, and on Blu-ray™ Combo Pack, DVD and On-Demand on April 4. This confirms this week’s reports that the Rogue One Blu-ray would hit shelves just in time for Star Wars Celebration 2017 in mid-April.
