Blockbuster superhero properties have grown increasingly popular in Hollywood over the last decade, with a handful of franchises leading the charge, including Warner Bros’ DC Comics Extended Universe. This year, the DCEU is gearing up for two big releases in Wonder Woman and Justice League, the latter of which will unite six major superheroes – Superman (Henry Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Batman (Ben Affleck), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher). Later DCEU installments are set to introduce a variety of other comic book superheroes and villains, but as of yet there are no plans to include Oliver Queen aka Green Arrow.
