The Mission: Impossible movie franchise is more than twenty years old now and going stronger than ever (both critically and commercially); with Mission: Impossible 6 gearing up to start filming in the next months, in order to make the movie’s Summer 2018 release date. Tom Cruise is similarly returning for his sixth go-round as IMF agent Ethan Hunt, with the franchise newcomers in this installment including the Man of Steel himself, Henry Cavill, as well as possibly The Crown‘s Vanessa Kirby. There will be a number of familiar faces back for the sixth Mission: Impossible too, both of the expected and (apparently) not-so-expected variety.
