Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales will set sail this May, hoping to recapture some of the critical success that the Disney franchise enjoyed from its first outing, The Curse of the Black Pearl. Though all Pirates movies have been commercial hits, they have all become progressively weaker, with muddled plotlines and a multitude of characters making the movies difficult to follow or enjoy.
To that end, Disney are pushing the fifth Pirates installment almost as a soft reboot; bringing us a ghostly pirate tale that will hopefully allow Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush to shine as Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Barbossa, respectively. New cast members include Javier Bardem as Captain Salazar, Brenton Thwaites as Henry, and Kaya Scodelario as Carina Smyth. Orlando Bloom also reprises his role as Will Turner after sitting out the fourth movie.
