Edge of Tomorrow 2 has a title and a returning original cast member. Doug Liman’s action-sci-fi was a critical hit back in 2014, with its delectable concept of Tom Cruise having to re-live the same day of combat over and over explored to its full potential. It was a more moderate box office success, although did still manage to double its budget (the universally accepted mark for breaking even).
A sequel has thus been on the cards since the first film hit, and although development has been slow Liman has been confirmed to return as director and Joe Shrapnel ...
