The third franchise revival since 2002, Homecoming has huge potential as the first Spider-Man-led installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel Studios took the creative lead in a partnership with Sony Pictures for the reboot, which stars Tom Holland as a high school-aged Peter Parker going through the typical teenage turbulence while discovering his powers as Spider-Man.
