A new promo for Kingsman: The Golden Circle debuts during the Kentucky Derby. In 2015, Matthew Vaughn’s adaptation of the comic created by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, Kingsman: The Secret Service, introduced moviegoers to a different kind of comic book movie. With plenty of references to James Bond, Kingsman: The Secret Service was an updated and comedically offbeat take on the spy genre, winning over critics and audiences alike. As such, the film secured a 74 percent on Rotten Tomatoes (and an 84 percent audience score) and earned $414.4 million on an $81 million budget – making the first Kingsman a resounding success.
