Production on Disney’s live-action Aladdin is officially done with filming wrapped. The Mouse House is running through their extensive library of animated classics and retelling them in a new way. While they’ve already tackled a number of beloved films, next year should be their biggest yet. Jon Favreau’s The Lion King is highly anticipated, but it will actually be Guy Ritchie’s Aladdin that hits theaters first. The film was subject to a prolonged casting process to find the perfect people to lead, and eventually brought Mena Massoud and Power Rangers‘ Naomi Scott onboard.
