Fox’s Gambit will be heading to New Orleans to start filming in March. Despite repeated delays, the film is at last headed into production in the Big Easy and has been slowly collecting production staff and casting its leads.
News about just what Gambit will entail remains to be seen but the film is rumored to tease some major X-Universe connections. Starring Channing Tatum as the charismatic mutant, the film has recruited a wealth of talent for the camera including Lizzy Caplan as well as a wealth of talent behind the camera including director Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean) and Max Max: Fury Road costume designer
