With an Obi-Wan Kenobi spinoff movie in the works, Liam Neeson says he’s intrigued by the idea of returning as Qui-Gon Jinn. Following Disney’s buyout of Lucasfilm, news quickly emerged that spinoff films would come each year between the continuation of the Skywalker saga. Rogue One, though largely based on the main story, managed to introduce all-new characters and tease the possibilities of the anthology films. But despite its success, Lucasfilm seems dead-set on each new film being a prequel for an established character.
