The Blu-ray/DVD release of Thor: Ragnarok will include a third appearance from Darryl (Daley Pearson), Thor’s roommate in the Marvel Cinematic Universe shorts, “Team Thor” and “Team Thor: Part 2.” However, this time Darryl will be hanging out with the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum).
For fans, Jeff Goldblum’s Grandmaster was one of the many highlights of Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok. Though based on a key villain from the comic books, the movie version of the character was written specifically for Goldblum. Ragnarok’s Grandmaster is a “pleasure-seeker” who likes to enjoy the finer things in life while watching gladiators fight to the death on the planet Sakaar.
