Last year, Warner Bros introduced a new iteration of Batman through Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel semi-followup Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Played by Ben Affleck, the DC Comics Extended Universe’s take on Batman became one of the more well received aspects of the film, generating plenty of buzz for the character’s planned solo outing. However, before Affleck’s Dark Knight returns in this year’s Justice League, the Caped Crusader will lead a very different kind of superhero flick: The LEGO Batman Movie.
