The first look images for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre prequel Leatherface have arrived. After ruling the ’80s, doing pretty well in the ’90s, and hanging on decently in the 2000s, the current decade hasn’t exactly seen much of note produced by classic horror franchises like Friday the 13th, Halloween, and A Nightmare on Elm Street. It’s been 8 years since Jason stalked victims at Camp Crystal Lake, 8 years since Michael Myers tormented Haddonfield – although that particular drought is soon to finally end – and 7 years since New Line’s failed attempt at rebooting Freddy seemed to kill that series dead for good.
