The first trailer for the upcoming My Little Pony: The Movie has dropped, along with a new poster for the film. The 80s toy phenomenon turned animated hit announced a move to the big screen back in 2014, following up the massive success of the TV series My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and several straight-to-DVD films with a huge theatrical release. The movie will include all the most popular elements and characters from the animated series, of course, while pitting the core ponies against a new threat to Equestria in a full-length adventure.
The movie will reunite the voice cast of the animated series to play the Mane 6, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity, but also adds several A-List celebrities to the cast list.
