Actor Michael Nyqvist, best known for his role in the original Swedish The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo movie, has passed away at the age of 56 after battling lung cancer on Tuesday, June 27, 2017.
Born as Rolf Åke Mikael Nyqvist on November 8, 1960 in Stockholm, Sweden, Nyqvist was educated at the School of Drama in Malmö.
