As production for Deadpool 2 continues, up-and-comer Julian Dennison has joined the film. After two decades as a cult comic book character, Deadpool began making waves following his live-action appearance in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. While the film and the interpretation of the character were widely panned, Ryan Reynold’s performance showed promise and it ignited a behind-the-scenes campaign that would slowly result in the release of last year’s Deadpool. From there, the character exploded past his core fanbase and became a household name, thanks to the movie’s massive success.
