Today was day one for Ron Howard as the new director of the currently untitled Han Solo film, and the director took to Twitter to share a small photo confirming he’s arrived and started working on the set of the film.
Howard was officially announced by Disney and LucasFilm last week as the choice to replace The Lego Movie and 21 Jump Street directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller after they were fired from the set over creative differences with producer Kathleen Kennedy. With just three weeks to go in principal photography, the Apollo 13 and Cinderella Man director will guide the film through the rest of this main shoot, plus the post-production process and any necessary reshoots needed to finish the film ...
