Marvel looks to have added She’s Gotta Have It star DeWanda Wise as a co-star in Captain Marvel. Marvel Studios is gearing up for the start of production on their first female led film. Captain Marvel is set to have a short period of filming later this month before production kicks into full gear later this spring, so Marvel has been busy rounding out the cast. It was previously announced Brie Larson will star as the titular heroine Carol Danvers – making her the first female to lead a solo Marvel film.
