The Dark Knight Trilogy star Christian Bale is revealing why he hasn’t seen Ben Affleck play Batman. A film veteran whose career dates back 30 years as 13-year-old in director Steven Spielberg’s Empire of the Sun, Bale is no doubt one of the most prolific actors in the business. And while he earned an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his transformative role as Dicky Eklund in director David O. Russell’s 2010’s biopic The Fighter, there’s no question the role that changed the trajectory of Bale’s career was that of Batman/Bruce Wayne in director’s Christopher Nolan’s Dark Night Trilogy.
