No Tomorrow actress, Marta Milans joins the cast of Shazam!, as one of Billy Baston’s foster parents. Directed by David F. Sandberg of Annabelle: Creation fame, the upcoming DC Films standalone project stars Asher Angel as its lead star opposite Zachary Levi, who plays the young actor’s titular superhero alter-ego.
It wasn’t exactly an easy road for Shazam! to come this far. After several reports pointing to the inclusion Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam villain, Warner Bros. ultimately scrapped the idea and opted to focus on the introduction of Billy into the DC Universe and establishing the dynamic between him and Shazam.
