Confirming what movie fans around the world already knew, it seems that it was a record-breaking year for the House of Mouse, as Disney topped the U.K. box office for 2017.
Although the acclaimed studio only released six films in 2017, it still came home with an impressive £265.1 million in the U.K., which equated to 19.2% of the entire U.K. box office. The other big Hollywood studios weren’t too far behind, but Disney still ruled the roost with its stellar crop of movies.
