Happy Death Day star Jessica Rothe says that director Chris Landon’s idea for a sequel has a Back to the Future style that would answer the biggest mystery of the first film. Blumhouse’s Happy Death Day follows Tree Gelbman (Jessica Rothe), a college student who gets murdered on her birthday – only to find herself reliving the terrible day over and over again.
