Stephen King is an author whose work never really goes out of style, but it seems as though 2016 has really been quite the year for many adaptations of his works to be made for the screen, be it big or small. First came 11.22.63, which made its debut on Hulu back in February, and filming for the IT remake wrapped earlier this year. 2016 has also seen The Dark Tower movie adaptation finally being shot, and though the release of that movie is now expected to be delayed, it will still be a cinematic highlight of 2017 for many King fans.
