Disney/Lucasfilm’s marketing machine is currently operating at its full capacity to promote Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the next installment in the Star Wars movie franchise – and more importantly, the first spinoff film set in a galaxy far, far away. The movie takes place just prior to the events in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope and recounts the previously-untold story about how the Rebel Alliance got its hands on the plans to the original Death Star (those same plans that Princess Leia hid in R2-D2 during the famous opening to A New Hope). As such, most of the characters in Rogue One have never been featured in a Star Wars film before – with some noteworthy exceptions.
Darth Vader, with James Earl Jones once again providing the character with his iconic voice, appears in Rogue One in a (minor) supporting capacity, as do such characters as Bail Organa – here
