Warner Bros. third movie in the DCEU was supposed to be a universal hit that would help calm the fears of weary viewers following Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Instead, Suicide Squad was also quite divisive, even while doing well at the box office. Despite the response from critics, there is and has been talk of the franchise continuing, with numerous reports of a sequel, as well as spinoffs for standouts such as Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn.
Any chance of a sequel could still be a few years away, but if a sequel does happen, it will be a surprise if the remaining cast members did not return. The big question, then, is whether or not David Ayer ...
