There is nothing like the bond between a human and his dog. Whether it’s Lassie, Marley and Me, or John Wick, this connection has been seen in movies and on television an endless amount of times. The pairing never fails in helping to gain sympathy, inspire giddiness, or to humanize a given character on screen. The trope is decades of years old and it appears that it will be back again in the upcoming sequel, Transformers: The Last Knight.
