It was back in 2008 that news first broke of a reboot of Alex Proyas’ 1994 film The Crow – itself an adaptation of the 1989 comic book series by James O’Barr. The reboot was to be written and directed by Blade and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen director Stephen Norrington, but that never came to pass. Instead, the movie has repeatedly changed writers, directors, and leading actors over the eight years that have passed since then.
